Watershed Map - North Coastal

  North Coastal (San Mateo)

The North Coastal watershed drains the western side of the coastal range in San Mateo County. Land use is primarily agriculture, grazing land and residential. Pillar Point marina is the one large boat harbor located in Half Moon Bay. Issues affecting streams in the North Coastal watershed include siltation, water diversions, migration barriers for salmonids, and low water flow.
