Specific Requirements for Advisory Council Representatives

2008 Recruitment

Tourism

Familiarity and affiliation with the tourism industry in communities near the Sanctuary;
Understanding of the links between tourism, Sanctuary resources, and human activities;
Ability and willingness to communicate effectively with representatives from the tourism industry in the Sanctuary region; and
Commitment and availability of time to co-chair (with the business/industry representative) the Sanctuary Advisory Council’s Business and Tourism Activity Panell (BTAP) which meets six times per year.
