Parking

  Limited metered parking is available on the surrounding streets

The City of Santa Cruz has many parking lots. See the map below for their locations. Some are free with time limits (usually 3-hours). Pay parking includes pay-by-space stations that accept credit cards, city ParkCards or cash. Beach area pay-n-display stations accept ParkCards and cash only. Parking lots that are closest to the Exploration Center are listed below.
  Take the Trolley
From downtown it's a great way to avoid traffic congestion & parking hassles. Parking lots that are closest to the trolley stop are listed below.

Lot No. 18: Beach Hill Parking Lot (metered)
Lot No. 25: Depot Park South (Pay-n-Display)

Lot No. 4: Cedar/Cathcart Parking Garage (Pay-by-Space)
Lot No. 5: Calvary Church Parking Lot (Pay-by-Space)
